Benjamin James was born from an obsession with proportion, detail, and the artistry of watch design. Our watches are inspired by the scenic English countryside where our founder grew up, the brand is a reflection of both his lifelong passion for watches and the timeless beauty of his surroundings.
Our founder has spent years refining his craft, with a background leading watch design for other English watch brands and a portfolio of over 20 collections, his expertise is rooted in a deep appreciation for classic watch design principles.
With a passion for classic, shaped dress watches passed down by his grandfather - Benjamin James returns to the era of elegance, where proportions make sense on the wrist.
By returning to genuinely classic proportions, we create timepieces that tuck under shirt cuffs with ease, feel weightless on the wrist, and command attention through detail.

Designed to feel natural on the wrist yet command quiet presence.
Benjamin James is a family run business, with every order packed by the founder and the team. Since late 2025 we are shipping and operating from Hong Kong where Benjamin and his wife are living.
